wogears 186 Posted July 5, 2006 Seems to be a whole slew of penises on display lately--no problem, just a comment. I love her disinterested expression, esp. as he has a decent body. Link to comment
yodo 0 Posted July 5, 2006 Great compo. A nude boy in a classic ancient posture with a disenchanted young modern girl!!!! "Men never change" title???? I love it! Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted July 6, 2006 Jana, I like your inventiveness with this image. Since the male nude appears in a classic statue pose your composition is complete as you've shown it. But if you meant to show her disinterest in a nude male, then I think you need something more that helps to justify why the girl is so close to him.I like your presentation and the cropping is quite good. pnital 36 Posted July 9, 2006 Real funny situation Jana, especially that his hand looks like caressing her head! Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted July 25, 2006 I had to come back. This is the best shot I've seen on PN in a while. Link to comment
oldowl 0 Posted August 10, 2006 I like Dominick's "Men never change" title. It seems to fit. This is very good in a very subtle sort of way. I am still amazed at the many different styles of photographs that you excel at. Everything that you do is excellent. Link to comment
juanra 0 Posted October 2, 2006 Es un testimonio de la indiferencia de la mujer hacia el hombre? Is it a testimony of the nonchalance of the woman towards the man? Link to comment
kenrick 0 Posted March 25, 2007 I like the way her head cuts off his hand giving him an almost classic roman statuesque appearance. Link to comment
barbera 0 Posted July 21, 2007 somehow just stumbled upon this one: very good and original. Link to comment
my mind through my eye 0 Posted August 24, 2007 What was during the morning if afternoon so boring, one can only guess... interesting composition great light, but i would like to see her slightly to the left. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted August 24, 2007 FL, this was a documentory image, so the composition is natural... thanks jana Link to comment
axel-cordes 0 Posted November 20, 2007 Like a new & actual version of http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bild:David_von_Michelangelo.jpg Great portfolio by the way! Regards Axel Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted January 29, 2008 I love the complete disinterest look about her, especially since he has a pretty classic pose. It appears she may be yawning in the next second or so. Great shot Jana Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted March 15, 2008 Jana, you are our resident genius, you know. Although it would be more pleasant for me if the roles were reversed, not to mention more telling (men generally not being at all indifferent to undraped women), this is a wonderful shot. --Lannie Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted January 30, 2009 The image and wit compete with each other,Jana. Stunning shot. Link to comment
nomade 1 Posted February 26, 2010 Absolutely amazing shot, staged or not, there's some kind of metaphoric thinking about this one... "The women that didn't loved men"? Or... "Modern girls just don't care anymore"? It's a brilliant sythesis, the kind of image I try to do most of the time. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted February 26, 2010 Nestor Thank You so much for Your kind words. This image was not staged. This was during a model shoot in Czech Rep., where 2 group of photographers slowly merged. One group of photographers was busy with this model (and were standing far away) and another group had a break. This lady is a photographer that had a break and she had no idea what was going on. The shooting photographers asked the model to go left and more left etc...I was part of the idle photographers... I saw this genuine scene - this is the result. IMO there was some space between her and the model, but using the telelens this is not evident. Link to comment
