I'm afraid the vignette here makes the picture dark and dingy, as if lit by a low-powered flashlight. I'm sure I'd much prefer it bright and airy.

In my opinion is the vignetting that gives the mood to the picture. Otherwise would just be a woodland path. Perhaps a litle less portion of vignetting would lead to a better balace. Also more sharpness in the well lit foreground.

The coloration is interesting but the line that the eye follows stops at the point where brown hits green. This would be more engaging if there were more depth.

I think it is a fairly effective use of lighting effects. Bob has a point, and it's as much because the horizon is in the middle. I still like it. One thing I like also is that you have maintained some detail in the dark areas.
