Kids staring/drooling over candy...

I really like what you have done here. I love how you caught the look of anticipation and awe on the faces of the children. It is just wonderful.

OK, this is better! Next time tell the big "kid" to step back a moment. It could still use a bit more light/exposure.

Same thing with the color version.

The facial expression on the kids is fine.. but they appear to be looking into a mirror - not at candy.. I know the kind of place this is shot in..but I still don't get very much sense of 'candy' or what the kids may be looking at.

 

Candy is colorful here there is an overal lack of color. It might also benefit from a bit more exposure or fill flash.

 

As well - the arm coming into the shot from behind the little boy seems rather disembodied and is a bit confusing.

 

Only my 2 cents.

I like this color version better than the B&W.

I like the composition better than the B&W version. This really pops out at you! Charming shot. Great photo.

I love the way you caught these kids salivating over the candy. With a nine year-old who loves candy, I can relate! I wish the pic were a little brighter, but otherwise a fun and telling shot!
