aepelbacher 0 Posted June 29, 2006 Another image from my ongoing search for interesting walls to photograph. :-) Thoughts? Link to comment
fotoscopio 0 Posted June 29, 2006 Like the colours and the repetition theme... although it feels quite cramped and alittle distorted. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted June 29, 2006 I was wondering if someone would pick up "distortion". I worked this one so much that I can't tell any more. I really wanted to try to keep the little rounded areas at the bottom ... maybe cropping them out would have helped. Here's the original for comparison. Thank you for your comment! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 29, 2006 Some wonderfully diverse shapes here in the abstract architectural photo. The trianglular shadows are a nice element to the scene and are the repeating vent holes. I like the deep blue tones but I do wonder how this would look on a more cloudy day with more diverse reflections in the windows. Cheers, Mauro. Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted June 29, 2006 Very fine pattern study, good timing of the light. Color handled very well. Link to comment
colin carron 58,923 Posted June 30, 2006 Nice colours - the sky green/blue goes well with the building colours. The distortion you have applied gives the shot a nice abstract quality and the slight unevenness is a good counterbalance to the regular pattern. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 1, 2006 Lou Ann, you have injected life to that image with the change of color, nice repetition and sky reflections. Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted July 1, 2006 A great abstract. . you handled this one very well, Lou Ann. . . this image really comes alive with the subtle variations of blue in an otherwise rigid repetitive pattern. . nice correction for perspective. . . and I really like your choice of framing. . henrimanguy 0 Posted July 2, 2006 Very interesting and nice graphic shot. Above all with this side lighting which draws those triangles on the wall. Furthermore, you have done an excellent post-processing treatment which gives a great impact to the photo. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted July 3, 2006 I like the arched areas on the bottom. With the heavy stroke, it gives the picture a scallped edge there. Very pleasing design, and nice PS work! Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted July 4, 2006 I like your loaded verseion, improved very much from the original, esp the colurs. The bottom arch actually enhnaces the symmetrical designs here, & I like the natural framing too. Link to comment
