A Barn in Technical Pan

Here's the first one I post in my serie. I'm taking pictures of Barns

and building made in wood in the Quebec since few years.

A great subject, but you missed the best time of day to capture the aging wood. Early morning or late afternoon to get the slanting rays to bring out the details. The contrast of this image is too high, as seen on my calibrated monitor, yours may be different. I feel the sky has gone too dark, almost blends with the roofline. Old buildings are a good project, go for it. Paul

It's Technical pan iso 200 in Dektol... How to have low contrast with this... The thing is that my scan is bad and really hard to do. Thats the best way ever to give details in wood... Look at the light in the wood. Thanks for your comment... usually people don't want to really tell what they think I it's what we all need to hear about the truth, Thx! I'll post few others different.

is this kodak 5302 you were posting about? I am getting back into photography again after leaving in 1986... I was hoping on shooting a new book using IR and ortho film ...printing on lith paper....but having a hard time finding the good old kodak films, any help would be appreciated. You r very good...I like your under the highway best..........2thumbs up!
