An unusual beach - the waves crash way back where you see them, but

every few minutes a wave would come up and move the rocks around. The

key was to wait for a wave to start to recede so you could see where

the rocks moved to, find a good selection of rocks, run up to it, and

shoot before the water receded too far. A fun shot.

Steve, I definitely like the colours here and the reflection of the sky in the water. There isn't much detail in the foreground though and that makes that part a little dull to me personally. You could think about rigourously cropping off a big part of the foreground, up to where the water starts, which will make the whole shot more colourful.

Gorgeous! Everything is perfect here! The foreground and the high horizon are essential in giving a sense of depth to the scene. In fact, it is the way this combination draws my eyes deep into the picture space that I really like. In addition to that, the details in the foreground, the reflection and the colours make this absolutely stunning. Well-done!
