dude steve 0 Posted February 12, 2002 An unusual beach - the waves crash way back where you see them, but every few minutes a wave would come up and move the rocks around. The key was to wait for a wave to start to recede so you could see where the rocks moved to, find a good selection of rocks, run up to it, and shoot before the water receded too far. A fun shot. don_sutherland 0 Posted February 12, 2002 The reflection of the sun, clouds, and sky on the water pools on the sand is quite spectacular. Don Link to comment
arthur sevestre 0 Posted February 12, 2002 Steve, I definitely like the colours here and the reflection of the sky in the water. There isn't much detail in the foreground though and that makes that part a little dull to me personally. You could think about rigourously cropping off a big part of the foreground, up to where the water starts, which will make the whole shot more colourful. Link to comment
kkwan 0 Posted March 23, 2002 Gorgeous! Everything is perfect here! The foreground and the high horizon are essential in giving a sense of depth to the scene. In fact, it is the way this combination draws my eyes deep into the picture space that I really like. In addition to that, the details in the foreground, the reflection and the colours make this absolutely stunning. Well-done! Link to comment
