Collected Flowers

I was hiking in Malibu and stumbled upon a small area where all

these very different yet very similar flowers grew. They all grew

within probably 160 sq. ft. (8ft x 20ft). It was quite amazing.

Must be that time of year. I like what you've done here alot. I like the images and how you've treated it as well.

 

..and I was struck in Avila Beach 2 weeks ago, in the middle of the chapparal, to come upon one of these as well. I want to think I've seen them before, but I don't think I have. It's a little shocking to see such a large striking singular bloom in oaks and manzanita.

We have these in Temecula, Ca. also. They are all very much alike but slighty different. They are very bright and catch the eye. They almost grow like weeds. You did a good job of knitting them together.

I feel the yellows are bit over-exposed. I 'd just like some more detail in the yellows.

...they are the same as in Portugal.
