kentb2 0 Posted June 20, 2006 Well Brian you must be pleased with this shot. It almost looks illustrative, like one of those old fruit crate labels form the 40's. Flawlessly composed and unforgetable color. Well done. Link to comment
paul_sharratt 0 Posted June 22, 2006 Brian, Beautiful image. I almost see the single tree as a farmer looking over the field. Maine, Scotland, and the English countryside are some of my favorite haunts as well. I need to add Italy! Could you provide more information as to the location/time of year. Your entire portfolio of images is quite inspiring. Keep shooting and posting. Cheers. Link to comment
brianclark 0 Posted June 23, 2006 Thanks to you all for your comments. Paul, the image was made during the first week of June this year and the location is about 5 miles north of San Quirico d'Orcia in Tuscany. I had spotted this hilltop a few days earlier in poor light and thought is would work well around sunset. When I returned I was rewarded with warm light and this lovely sky, the colour of which resembled the earth below. Sometimes you just get lucky! Regards, Brian Link to comment

sakke 0 Posted October 26, 2010 I like Tuscany very much and I have seen many pictures from there. I do not remember having seen something like this. This is another original view - excellently mastered. Now I need to go to work. I´ll be back on your site. Link to comment
