Which light source did you use?

It could be great if you add some technical details, so we can learn from you!

I like to take shots of flowers, i have to say this is a great shot. The background could not have been any better and no shaddows supper shot.

Nice clean crisp shot.

Since it's a studio set up shot there are two things that stand out against the shot. Risking a tongue lashing - I noted the things that bugged me and re posted it.

 

Most people wouldn't get 'em...

but an art director or photo editor would/should.

 

Other than that a very clean classic ad/editorial oriented shot. I'm assuming shot against a soft box or with your background a stop over your key light. You did manage to get a perfectly petaled flower.

 

I always like these kind of shot for how easy they can be used either alone or combined with other elements in ad work. So the simplicity is definitely working for you.
