bartimeus1 0 Posted June 6, 2006 I really enjoy the depth of this photo. In my opinion this has so many interesting and harmonious aspects and also enough of contrast. My congratulations for such a fine shot! Link to comment

amalsircar 2 Posted June 7, 2006 Excellence writ all over the image,Saleemji. The clouds, the birds, golden stalks of paddy swaying in the wind, light and realistic colors-make this one of my most liked image of yours. Link to comment
timohicks 0 Posted June 8, 2006 Nice definition in the clouds although they are superficially related to the water which causes the entire composition to look very shallow. The reflection of the clouds on the water is a mere mirror image (sky flipped upside down) that defies the laws of atmospheric and linear perspective. The clouds nontheless are what hold this composition together (be that as it may). The horizon you tried to create between the water and clouds looks contrived (very much so). But there is a certain charm about the elements in this composition although the linear depth of the water reminds me of the top of a fish tank. The gulls and what looks like cattails help creat the mood (and this is evident given the comments) but the clouds are way tooooo low on the right also. You could save your efforts by rendering the water with more depth and raising the clouds (which sounds like a mountain of changes). Good luck. Out of respect for your vision and your efforts, I will not rate this composition. Link to comment
