polina.viljun 0 Posted June 5, 2006 Dear All, I am just a beginner. I have read much about how-to-make-it-right, but not sure of the result. I'd greatly appreciate any help/suggestions of possible improvements to be made, thanks in advance, Polina Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted June 5, 2006 Beautiful B/W portrait, Polina. Lydia's expression is unique. Very good lighting and sharpness. Lovely Lydia! Excellent result. Best regards. Link to comment
polina.viljun 0 Posted June 6, 2006 Flemming, David, thanks for your comments - the model is beautiful, indeed. I'd love to ask her to pose for me (this shot was occasional, she wasn't posing, just staring out of the window.) Link to comment
cpm 0 Posted June 7, 2006 I like very much the portrait, but I see a bit softness.. I dont know why maybe you seek it... Great job. Regards Link to comment
polina.viljun 0 Posted June 8, 2006 I also see the softness, but the original image was blurry, and it was the best result I could get in correcting it manually. I just was afraid that i'd get the worse quality while trying to make it sharper:(thanks for you responce,Polina Link to comment
tinaforgetphotography 0 Posted June 15, 2006 Polina: This image is exquisite. The lighting on her lovely face is perfect, drawing much attention to her beautiful eyes, and delicate features. Portraiture is so wonderful when captured naturally, and you have done a fantastic job with this portrait, Polina. Respectfully, Tina Link to comment
