kris_warkentin 0 Posted June 1, 2006 It's very nice but not quite right. It's obviously a mirror flip which would be fine but there's something just a tiny bit off. If you stare at her eyes for a while you see it. Either they're not quite aligned or they're the wrong distance apart or something. I can't quite put my finger on it but it's quite unsettling. Don't get me wrong. I like it quite a bit but it just goes to show how incredibly sensitive humans are to faces. There was a study once where they found that people reacted favorably to artificial faces that were obviously artificial but, as they got closer and closer to being realistic, there was a tipping point. When faces were very close but just a little off, people found them 'creepy' or 'weird'. Link to comment

margaret1 0 Posted March 31, 2009 Normally, the measurement of the width of each eye is the same measurement as the width of the bridge of the nose between the eyes. If you measure, this is correct on this flip. But, I think the colors make the bridge look wider. There also tends to be a flatness to the bridge of the nose. What a wonderful study. sylvia_holmes 0 Posted March 31, 2009 Beautiful light, tones and colour. Wonderful mirror exept for the shadow on he chin and under her nose. It gives away the light sorce and that it is a mirror image. I guess it doesn't matter though. It is still beautiful. Link to comment
