aepelbacher 0 Posted May 28, 2006 I'm really BAD at this. Will you come and choose some colors for MY house? :-) SOOoooo ... I understand that you guys passed up the chance to visit here in DC. Hmmmph! I'll try not to be too offended. LOL!! Seriously, I love this shot ... simple and COLORFUL! Nice work, Linda! Link to comment
j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted May 28, 2006 Nice abstract and the white line make it look different. :) Best regards Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 28, 2006 an interior designer - I understand a bit better now! This is great - did you do more with different shades? That would be fun, as well as some other angles, curves, circulars, etc. - a nice series, if you do such things. I like the rawness of this ... Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 29, 2006 Love colors. Hope everything is ok with you and Roger!! Link to comment

daily_photograph 0 Posted May 30, 2006 Interior designer Linda? Interesting. So you have a professional way to drop sth. :-)) Link to comment
peta 0 Posted June 2, 2006 I'm a Spring and those seem to be my colours! :))) Remember that colour me beautiful craze! lol This is a super abstract, I love those little rough edges of white. I have the 20D, what lens do you use? I just ordered a Tamron 28-300 for my trip as a professional photographer I know recommended it, hope it's OK! Not that expensive or heavy. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted June 2, 2006 I have an 85 Canon 1.8 lens for this camera that is great...recently I was thinking of getting a macro, but Roger suggested I get extension tubes, instead. This was done with the 36mm on the 85. I'm always in search of the ultimate lens. You'll have to let me know how you like the Tamron. I have had good luck with them in the past. How long are you going to be in OZ this time? Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted June 3, 2006 Getting ready for a home remodel myself :-( Can't wait till my wife comes home with a similar array and nonchalantly (sp) says "so, what do you think of the "green" one?". Excellent shot (especially like the diagonal effect and the randomness of the the white dividers) Nice depth and shadow between each sample... looks like the tubes worked fine. (how big roughly was the subject? any cropping, or able to fill the frame with the shot?). Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted June 4, 2006 No cropping, Jeff. This was part of a "fan deck" of Benjamin Moore colors....the area shown is about 3"x5". Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted June 6, 2006 Linda, this is clever. I like the randomness of the spacing and the white lines, and also the black lines created by the shadows. It's just a little oof on the far left. I'm a paint chart junkie. I can't go near them in the store without shoving a few in my pocket, even when I'm not planning on painting anything. I have a box full of them and sometimes I just take them out to look at them, and put them away again. There is no hope for me. Link to comment
peta 0 Posted June 7, 2006 Hi Linda, I might get that lens next..good for portraits I believe. The new lens seems very nice, I got a few wonderful portraits of my daughter in fairly lowlight which was a surprise...very sharp too. So I'm looking forward to photographing down south! I leave in almost 24 hours from LAX. We are there 3 weeks.:) Link to comment
