richbh 0 Posted May 23, 2006 I'm really surprised this has gotten four 3/3 ratings less than six hours after it was posted. I feel as though I should apologize for foisting my crap images on the entire membership of photo.net. Link to comment
bowlesben 0 Posted May 25, 2006 do not worry about ratings i am learning that usually the 3\3 ratings come when an image is more personal to the artist. especially if it contradicts the purist who think that there is only one way of shooting the laws of thirds the this... and contrast the that... and the cropping bla bla bla. just keep showing what you want to show and do not stop there will always be someone that will enjoy what they see through your eyes. grillot 0 Posted May 25, 2006 actually I like this.. nice abstract.. Hopefully you move position to capture more of the bridge as the central part of the shot - this coupled with the very interesting enviornment makes a nice combination. Also you made the right decision to go B/W. regards. Link to comment
richbh 0 Posted May 25, 2006 I know I shouldn't worry about the ratings, but it just galls me. Thanks for your encouragement. Link to comment
richbh 0 Posted May 25, 2006 I'm glad you like the image. It was fairly difficult to get just this scrap of the bridge in the frame as the banks of the Nippersink Creek are fairly high at this location. Thanks for your comments. Link to comment
