neilpeters 0 Posted May 24, 2006 scanned b+w print. available light. ilford paper. tmax400. Kim's eyes pierce daylight and turn many former Knight's into mush. Had they trusted instinct, she could not be more down to earth and approachable. Link to comment
javier_valdez2 0 Posted May 24, 2006 i really like the tones and the composition, the gaze is deep. The only think that disturbs me is that i have to turn my head on the left while i'm looking to the picture. Link to comment
olivierd 0 Posted May 24, 2006 Deep portrait, i like it, try the square crop with a nice border and you got it Link to comment
tanyatruong 0 Posted June 8, 2006 I actually like it just the way it is. Different angle, diffent perspective. This composition makes her eyes much more striking and penetrating. It reminds me of the eyes of a cat in a dark nite. Kim does emit grace in this photo, so it's not a suprise to find her subtle earthiness if the Knights still survive ;o). With warm regards, Tanya. Pierre Dumas 280 Posted June 24, 2006 Someone may be curious why I gave this picture 6 for originality. Just a girl looking at the camera. Snapshot, everyday's candid. I am looking in them eyes and feel as they talk to me, and again I see mistrust, suspicion, question. I am comunicating with this girl, and that's something. Back again. I didn't know the tittle, not to mention the other comments. I saw them after I wrote my comment. And I say those eyes ARE intimidated, they don't intimidate me, nor make me feel nervous or emberassed. They atract me, chalenge me to think of a way I can penetrate in this soul full with caution. They tell me something about a person who may be communicative, good for fun and amusing, but is really introvert and cautious in her substance. You see, there are stories told on this picture and that's why it's very original. Link to comment
