tanyatruong 0 Posted May 16, 2006 Absolutely beautiful shot, how do create this image?. It's like a painting almost. Congrad, tanya. Link to comment
pdoyle 0 Posted May 16, 2006 Gorgeous, lyrical, simply wonderful. I love the way her arm reflects on the underside of the water's surface. The model deserves credit for achieving this pose as well. Link to comment
focus mankind 0 Posted May 16, 2006 Micheal brings it to the point. Even I doubt, my D200 - even waterresistant - will survive one of those photos!Sorry for joking around - This is stunning an most beautifull. It reminds me to old master-paintings showing greek myhtology. One of the best photos I've seen here! - focus Link to comment
george_andreou 0 Posted May 16, 2006 It's a beautiful shot but it's too obvious the model is holding her breath, she doesn't look as relaxed as the image demands. Link to comment
eduardocarrasco 0 Posted May 17, 2006 very nice shot, good light and compototion, congratulations Link to comment

magumi 0 Posted May 17, 2006 The idea is not novel, but the execution is very good for an amateur photographer; you might want to take a look here: http://tinyurl.com/pcggy Link to comment
haleh b 0 Posted May 17, 2006 I actually find your underwater images quiet moving and symbolic. Martin, would you mind explaining to me what sets apart an amateur from a so called professional photographer and the fact that it is even brought up here. I am curious to find the connection. bread shutter 0 Posted May 18, 2006 WITH REGARDS TO Martin Mikolajek LAST COMMENT I WOULD NOT LET IT BOTHER YOUSELF AS HE DOES LEAVE SOME VERY STRANGE COMMENTS ON PN. BUT I WOULD LOVE TO SAY TO THE REST OF YOU WHO HAVE VOTED AND LEFT COMMENTS A VERY BIG THANK YOU Link to comment
amin_ostovari 0 Posted May 18, 2006 O h how bad my company would survive the market if all "amature" photographers would be able to take pictures like this!!This is exellent work no talk about it!I have rated it 7/7 cause its all good. The only thing i noticed, maybe cause its on my laptop im wieving this pic, is the darker parts, there seem to be a little noise there, never the less its still a perfect picture 7/7!! Vey nice nad martins comment is really funny.. not.. regards Amin Link to comment
george_andreou 0 Posted May 18, 2006 A professional photographer does it for a living, an amateur does it for fun. So I think it was meant as a compliment. Link to comment
keithmorin 0 Posted May 18, 2006 Maybe im just not seeing the connection.. but with the title "dreaming" i see no reason for the net? At first i thought it was going to be about the woman portraying a sea creature. other than that i agree with all the above comments about the beauty and perfect execution. Link to comment
haleh b 0 Posted May 18, 2006 That is not a good explanation for me! I know many fine photographers that are both making money and they are having a great time at doing so! The word ?professional? gets abused in the business of photography a great deal. Link to comment
george_andreou 0 Posted May 18, 2006 Sorry, I'll rephrase: A professional photographer does it for a living and is paid (and for fun), an amateur does it as a hobby and is not paid (and also for fun!). Link to comment
