wingell 0 Posted May 14, 2006 A mosaic tile artist passes by one of his creations adorning the facade of a house in Philadelphia. Your comments and critiques are always welcome. Thanks...Bill Link to comment
louise bridge 0 Posted May 14, 2006 I like this one because of the position of the artist relative to the lines in the ceramic face behind him that draws the eye around inside the image. Ironic that one dimensionally they would be nose to nose with the artist's work sort of kissing its maker. I had previuously been oblivious to the fact of the importance of a ladder as an important tool in this kind of artwork. Now I know better. Link to comment
albinas 0 Posted May 20, 2006 Nice and quite original image. Excellent composition, colors and contrast. Original and well done. Regards! Link to comment
louise bridge 0 Posted May 21, 2006 Returning to this image on a brighter monitor than the first time, I like it even more. Details I had not noticed earlier were more readily apparent this time, particularly the minimalist hand over at the upper left which is of a dovewing-like design most speakingly reminiscent of Picasso. If you will pardon the mixed metaphor there. Link to comment
