will king 0 Posted May 6, 2006 Sharon, I've noticed that your pet portraits are excellent. I tried photographing our dog (shitz szu) yesterday and there's reason why I didn't post it for critique: it sucked! It didn't come close to how well this photo is. I like the sinister look of this shot. It's a dark shot yet you've managed to really capture the cat's eyes well. Great job on this one. Link to comment
sharshar 0 Posted May 6, 2006 your comments are appreciated...especially since I haven't been able to get a rating above a 4 lately. I'm suffering from writer's block, no that would be photo block! By the way, your wedding work is wonderful, a lot more stressful than landscapes huh? Thanks again Will, good to hear from you. Link to comment
bekahamaris 0 Posted May 6, 2006 how the eyes draw you in and make you examine the rest of the photo. Great use of lighting. Awesome shot! Keep up the great work! Cheers, Rebekah Link to comment
randy_bray 0 Posted May 7, 2006 Looks a lot different than the usual fare here and that's a good thing ! The cat is deep in thought. Compositions like this are never easy, and yet you captured it nicely. I have 2 cats, one runs when she sees the camera and the other one tries to lick the lens when you do a closeup. :-) Nice job, truly well done. Link to comment
