fleetwheels 0 Posted April 24, 2006 Like the moody lighting and the sharpness. Nice one! Link to comment
david_cassidy2 0 Posted April 24, 2006 An excellent image. I love the lighting and the composition. The sharpness is exceptional. The shadow-play adds to the dimensionality of the image. Link to comment

corbin 0 Posted April 24, 2006 Beautiful, great details, great light. I like what you did with the green leaves, they fill the space nicely without being conspicuous. Link to comment
dougbraz 0 Posted April 25, 2006 So sharp and crisp it look almost like a silk flower! The lighting is first rate and the leaves in the background just give it that extra magical "touch" - a VERY nice image. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 29, 2006 Looks nearly I could have touched it Tibor, very nice placement on the frame.....sharp, good light and colors, Pnina Link to comment
tibor 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Thanks Chintak and Pnina! This image turned out good despite the fact it's a snapshot. It was so crowded at the Skagit Valley tulip fields I was almost frustrated. Link to comment
john graham 0 Posted July 4, 2006 The lighting is just right for this single tulip. Good contrasts which boost the detail. Very much the way the Dutch painted them. Well captured. Kind regards John Link to comment
tibor 0 Posted July 14, 2006 Thanks, John! You are too kind comparing it to the Dutch paintings. Link to comment
giuseppe_miriello1 0 Posted August 4, 2006 very well seen image... it doesnt seem a snapshot, so you have been lucky to get that light and good enough to capture it just passing by... textures and 3-d effect is excellent due to light quality, what i like most is the great contrast between the higher and the lower part of the frame, wich is readable but not too much... probably the image needs a little more "air" on the left side, becouse the flowers seems to "look" in that direction, otherwise just fine.. kindest regards. g. tibor 0 Posted August 8, 2006 Thanks, Giuseppe for the critique! Now that you pointed it out, indeed I feel the image is out of balance. See I told you it was a snapshot. I guess I could doctor some dark space to it on the left in PS if I ever want to frame it. Thanks again! Link to comment
