fleetwheels 0 Posted April 18, 2006 Very pleasing image to sit and view, nice compo. Would it be that smidgin' better by having the tree actually just break that horizontal cloud line? Link to comment
carl_huelgas 0 Posted April 18, 2006 I like the foreground with the gras or little rocks very much. It gives a feeling of grain. The composition is perfect! Congrats Carl Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted April 18, 2006 Hello Kevin, Grindon is not far from Berwick where my wife comes from. This is a very nice image. Regards. Peter Link to comment
esau_b. 0 Posted April 18, 2006 I like this shot very much. IMO the composition is not the strongest. The tree, which is made the focal point by the sloping hill, is not centered, nor framed at a place where is comfortbale to the eye, at least mine. I think a little fooling around with framing would be interesting to see where it leads...Ive attached a version of one cropping perspective. Despite that, its a very nice photo. Well done. _barb_ 0 Posted April 19, 2006 nice shot, I love how the tree is nestled in the dip.not too sure about the murky toning, it might look better as a black and white.the tonal range is a bit limited, I think I'd try to bring out the whites and bright parts a bit more by upping the contrast. andrea.gerosa 0 Posted May 4, 2006 I like a lot this composition, with the perfect arc traced by the mountain and the tree in the right position, completely in the opposite field of the sky. Link to comment
