I must open with a comment on the first comment. I think if I were you I would file a complaint. Not only is that the rudest, meanest, most racist comment (the ONLY one of such a nasty tone) I've seen on this site, there is no way it should be tolerated. Not only that, but this piece of caca doesn't even have the guts to use his real name. Onto your photo: this is about as fine a portrait of a seagull as I've ever seen.

Wow. Gulls aren't my favorite variety of bird, I must say, but you've done a fine job on this one. Nice cropping, tack sharp, good color, nice exposure. In agreement with my colleague just above -- it really is a great portrait of a seagull. He seems alert in an almost whimsical way. Thanks for sharing.

Good. For close up shots of birds, you may want to focus on the eye area as the viewer is generally drawn to the eye.
