Listening to Ella

I like this shot, Hilary - I don't know why it's getting bum ratings (learn to ignore them anyway).

The lighting is nice, I'm assuming a window? All the detail is in the shadow areas regardless of the side-lit nature, and the comp is great, too - the hand takes us from teh lower right corner up to the eyes, nicely placed 2/3 up the frame, and the small-of-back tattoo gives us a visual anchor in that corner.
