oswegophoto 1 Posted April 7, 2006 Detail of a sculpture I'm quite fond of, partly because I like a photo I made of the inside of the piece; this is a patch of the wonderfully tactile skin on the outside. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted April 7, 2006 Very nice, and such a professional job of matting and framing this beauty. I'll watch the NY Times Art Section for gallery show information! Link to comment

oswegophoto 1 Posted April 10, 2006 Shawn, Richard, Hiroya, thank you for your very kind words and ratings. This piece is (as stated in the Details) by Gilles Foisy, some of whose work may be viewed at the Butters Gallery's site. My previous photograph of it is here. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted April 10, 2006 Do you realize how many of your photos have the look of something shot in outer space or looking down from that perspective? It really seems to be a recurrent theme. I haven't been able to work the patch into my theory but aside from that, this looks like an infrared photo of the earth from about 12 miles up.
