Guest Posted April 6, 2006 This I really like! The colour is subtle yet beautiful, I like the way the long exposure has allowed some cloud movement. Very well done! Regards. Link to comment
joanbn 0 Posted May 23, 2006 Carlos, Congratulations on POW but, as someone suggested, I checked out a few photos in your portfolio and agree, these are much more interesting than the one chosen. I like the colors in this one and the hint of pinks adds to it for me. I will be back. Link to comment
kyle shortes 0 Posted May 23, 2006 Before reading on with this be warned, I AM an amature: I love long exposures as wel, but I'm still really confused when people say it was a 3 minute exposure, how do you manager that? Lowest I've seen is 30 seconds on the time value selection of ANY SLR. Newb question, sorry. Link to comment
mnigro 0 Posted May 24, 2006 Kyle: Set your shutter speed to B and hold the button for the time you want the shutter curtain to be opened. Link to comment

BobSandford 0 Posted May 25, 2006 The contrast between the motion of the sky and the still smoothness of the water is quite striking. Link to comment
anil_patial 0 Posted May 26, 2006 I would call my observations as an preception rather than suggesions or technicalities. My humble reading of this photograph is feeling confusion...what is the real mood of photograph, Calmness, soothness or it is to arouse tensions. The sea is velvetty smooth arousing soothness, but then clouds with straight lines, rushing past horizon, arouse uneasyness. Moreover, the fence lines are too straight and criss-crossed in middle to support the calm feeling. Overall photo is arousing uneasyness.Anil Patial Link to comment
