You've done all you can do with the light to make this interesting and dramatic, but interesting and dramatic it's not...

Personally I like it. As with all of Fransisco's shots, this one shows excellent lines and a great composition. Great wide angle perspective. Nice shot.

I've followed Dale in commenting on several images in a row, and his comments on every one have been negative.

So here's my comment: I really like this. You have indeed succeeded in making it interesting and dramatic. The composition is excellent, as is the exposure and the B&W conversion. I particularly like how carefully you've framed the details in the foreground, and how the slope of the sand dune connects up with the corner of the frame BL. In a perfect world, the sky would be a bit more dramatic, but this sky is still good, and the diagonal lines formed by the clouds contribute nicely to the composition. This is a fine addition to your excellent portfolio.

As usual, wonderful black and white work! The only slight criticism I would offer is that to the right of the last piece of wood the tonality of the sky does not match the rest of the image.....

I like the compo as well, but feel the image lacks "density", maybe the use of a digital camera is the reason ?

Stunning lighting, well composed B&W with crossing diagonals and superwide perspective, dramatic ! Initially I found the clouds too flat, but then you are probably right not to overemphasize them, would detract from the fence.
