The Pond

I feel like I can walk out on the pier, put my feet in the water on a hot day and listen to the frogs sing. They don't have aligators in Michigan, do they?

There is a wonderful mood and atmosphere in this photo. I like how the light and sharpness goes all the way to the back and shows me the field behind the trees. I like the darker water (with reflections too) framing the lighter pier. This makes the pier the subject and it is well supported by your treatment of the surrounding area.
