markonestudios 4 Posted March 23, 2006 Hi all! I'd really appreciate feedback on this in terms of comments. This was her first shoot with me... Link to comment
imatate 0 Posted March 23, 2006 You captured her sweetness without her looking at the camera. Nice lighting smooth and rich and the shallow depth of focus puts my eye right on her beautiful face. Well done. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted March 24, 2006 Lovely capture Mark. Good blur for the background. I wonder if a crop at the top wouldn't do this a bit of justice. Also I decided to convert to black and white for the hell of it. Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted March 25, 2006 Hi guys! I'm delighted that you stopped by :) Amar, thanks for the suggestion. Your B&W looks gorgeous. Good crop, too!Thank you all...Mark :] Link to comment
shambhala 0 Posted March 25, 2006 Aaaah... See what you can do without Photoshop!! How much your work has improved! This is a beautiful spontaneous portrait that the two of you should be proud of. It works well in colour too but the crop suggested by Amar makes her more the central point. Bravo! Link to comment

cherlyn 1 Posted March 28, 2006 Very good portrait for your 1st shoot with her. You have captured her natural & sunny smile. The crop B/W version looks very good too as it draws our attention straight to the model's face. Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted March 28, 2006 Cherlyn, Andrija, thank you both for commenting. Thank you all. This is indeed one of my favourite portraits. I am honoured. Amar, the B&W is slowly taking over as being my more favourite of the two versions ;) I am particularly happy with the DOF achieved here, considering my lens was probably at about f/4, 70mm.Mark :] Link to comment
arthurs 0 Posted March 28, 2006 Lovely work, Beautiful model, it's also very good considering the colors. best regards Arthur Link to comment
