This is a 2.1 hour exposure of Polaris taken with a Nikon FM with 50 mm lens (f/2.8) and 200 speed film. The cliffs in the lower left are the Book Cliffs outside of Grand Junction, Colorado. The color on the cliffs comes only from the city lights from the distance. The moon wasn't out on this night.
