randall_shafer 0 Posted January 13, 2002 great candid portrait-- the subject looks very relaxed and attractive. You only need to clone out that distracting red blob in the background to make it perfect. Link to comment
tom_menegatos 0 Posted January 14, 2002 Took some quick shots to update her portfolio after going with her to a casting call. Shot on the piers near the Intrepid. Link to comment
kevin_lackey 0 Posted January 14, 2002 A very nice candid shot. I agree 100% with Randall about the red blob. Would have rated higher had it not been there, otherwise, well done. Link to comment
bob fowler 8 Posted January 15, 2002 The red blob is a bit of a distraction. Nice pic of a pretty girl. Link to comment
twmeyer 0 Posted January 16, 2002 This is a pretty girl, and an adequate photograph, except for the red thing... what were you thinking about when you made this exposure? As experienced as you are photographing pretty girls, I'd expect that you would know that a big, red, out-of-focus thing in the background would distract from the subject, especially since she's dressed in green. By the way, I otherwise would have complimented you on the palette, since her green sweater goes so well with the green in the background, but that red thing... what were you thinking? Maybe if the red thing was entirely contained in the frame, perhaps outlining her head (?), then it could serve as a framing device that would keep our attention on her face (I guess you had to be there, huh? It was probably huge and unavoidable.)... t Link to comment
photo-a 0 Posted February 14, 2002 Hi Tom, I like the composition and the color. Her smile and the looking back pose is wonderful. Her face is not as sharply focused as I like, but that's minor. Link to comment
