nanette 0 Posted March 10, 2006 From the thumbnail, I thought this might be a cafe shot, the lighter appearing to look like a mug with steaming coffee inside. Again, it's easy to see that this image is your own, Alonesque, I call it. :) A beautiful image presented as B&W. Textures, DOF, exposure, comp-all perfect. Defnitely worthy of gallery wall space. sabina dorneanu 0 Posted March 13, 2006 Love the crisp look of the lighter and the flame that obscures the background. I wonder who is that guy far away... seems somewhat familiar... or is it just an illusion? Cheers, S. Link to comment
rob_duyser 0 Posted March 16, 2006 very eye catching; In a few of your recent photos I notice you have exploited the relationship between what is in the foreground and background very well; this shot being a fine example, great detail on the lighter too. greets,Rob. Link to comment

aginbyte 0 Posted July 18, 2007 ... great detail on the lighter and we can feel the man staring at the flame. Excellent B&W treatment, especially the split frame in the top half of the image. Link to comment
