alinux33 0 Posted April 7, 2006 I like the mood in this picture. Getting out from the shadows of the forest you discover this small hospitable meadow... Very nice! And thanks for taking the time to comment my photo. Link to comment

kickniko 0 Posted April 15, 2006 Garry, perhaps I am a bit biased with this, since it reminds me in a vague manner of the bedtime stories that I heard, but so be it! Personal taste is always the result of each and every influence of our past. The lighting in this one resembles vignetting but one that happens very naturally, sinde the dark parts of the photo are all around the middle part, which seems to shine! The color transition that uniformly changes from almost black near the edges over green to the yello-red-braun of the middle, enhances the impression - a warm home in the middle of the picture, and so also in the middle of life in the woods. Not to forget the path that takes somebody to the house! It corresponds very well to that feeling of going home, and its position brings me myself in the woods at the close distance to home, that I already can see as I walk. A great capture! timberwulf 0 Posted April 17, 2006 Bias is the spice of the art critique. ;) Thank you very much for your comments Nick! And thank you to everyone else for your comments as well. It's always nice to have an image that people enjoy. :) Link to comment
sladez 0 Posted April 27, 2006 Wonderful image! It is not an easy task to capture that sense of light when coming out of a dark forest but you did it beautifully. The darkening of the edges is superbly done and the rusty red of the barn against the cool shades of green is perfect for this shot. Nice work! Link to comment
