Constructing the Forest

A simple black and white silhouette. I like the "contrast" between the

artificial crane and the trees. Comments?

Well, you pretty well summed it up already. We have lots of tower cranes around here (Dallas), but you won't see them in amonst the trees. It is a good contrast.

I like the simplicity of the composition, and of course the incongruity of the subject matter. I think it's an excellent photo and a great subject for a silhouette. The one thing I'd prefer would be to see the end of the crane, but I wasn't there so don't know if there were distractions or anything. Great shot though. Cheers, Bond.

I honestly do not remember what was to the left of the crane. I guess theconstruction site will be there for a while. I am just waiting for some nice spring sunsets...
