Jay, one day I have to get myself to Death Valley...this is one fine photograph! I assume this is a multiple exposure, or no? Regardless, very cool. Regards.

I read somewhere that in Death Valley you get the best view of the moonlight, something about the clean desert air. I guess this proves it! Just love the colour of the moon and to see the foreground lit up that way.

Nicely done. Did the multiple exposures include the moon, or was that added from somewhere else? Or maybe just taken once with the moon? Inquiring minds want to know. Exposure and lighting is excellent. Cheers.

Once again, beautifully done with excellent details in the salt. The image appears tilted to the left a little; due to the land or not, I would prefer a leveled salt line at the horizon.

Thank you all for taking time to comment on this photograph.

This photograph is composed of two different exposures: One for the moon and one for rest of the image. Both exposures were taken within minutes or one another. There was enough twilight remainin to give a deep blue colors in the sky as well as illuminated the white salt textures as the moon was rising over the mountains.

This one was worth all the work. Intriguing, beautiful composition and colors.

Such an evocative shot, Jay. Not only the moon is great, but the landscape the moon illuminates is lunar: on the moon, watching the moon. Great shot.

Beautiful composite. I had the chance to shoot DVNP twice this past year and really enjoyed my trips there. Now I can't wait to get back. You have put together a wonderful photograph here. Kudos...RAY
