arne_sacnussen 0 Posted March 8, 2006 People seem to like this & it's a nice composition, but IMO the use of the split ND filter here is obvious and heavy handed. Link to comment

harold wingo 0 Posted July 9, 2006 Arne, thank you for viewing this image. I should point out that you are mistaken regarding my "obvious use" of a split ND Filter. I used no filtration on this image. With exception of IR work, I use no filtration on any of my images to include a UV filter. My Schneider lenses are covered by nothing. Harold Link to comment

rodney_schulz 0 Posted August 21, 2008 Harold, You're good, really good. As someone who is technically competent (not good, just competent; i.e., understand Fstops, exposure, basic framing, etc.) but artistically challenged (I'm a finance and engineering guy), where do I start on learning how to "see" like an artist. I noticed that you spent 6 years with a Master photographer in Germany. I don't have 6 years, but where should I start? I live in Houston, so there's not much landscape to shoot, but I love to shoot my 4 and 6 year old girls, both adopted from China. Thanks, Rod rodney@schulzinvest.com Link to comment
