davidmccracken 2 Posted February 22, 2006 I am hoping my intent here is obvious. Feedback appreciated. Should there be anyone looking for my more daring work, you can always do a search for me on photopoints or photosig where I have uploaded some new images along with some of my deleted images. I am sure to be uploading more soon. Link to comment
dchatter 0 Posted February 22, 2006 David, first of all, this is a sterling capture, dynamic and alive. I love the range of b/w tones you have here, and the light. A beautiful shot for sure. I'm a little concerned about the seemingly barrel distortion that probably persists, but that doesn't take anything away from the emotive aspect of this shot. A pleasure. Best regards. davidmccracken 2 Posted February 22, 2006 Thanks Debasish. The distortion you see is most definitely there. This was taken with a 28 - 135 zoom and the pedestrians you see are very close to the camera. (The lens was set at 28mm.) I like this one myself and it is good to know that someone else likes it too. owen_omeara 1 Posted February 22, 2006 This is a brilliant effort my friend. Winogrand comes to mind, and that is a compliment. Well done. -Owen Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 22, 2006 Thanks Owen. I must say, even if you hadn't liked any photographs in my portfolio, I would have guessed (and hoped) that you would like this. Thanks also for the comparison to Garry. One day... who knows? Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted February 24, 2006 Another successful attempt of your stationary vs. movement topic. B&W is a good idea on this. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 25, 2006 Wilson, movement does fascinate me. I do like this one myself. Thanks for stopping by. Link to comment
mister-mouse 0 Posted September 10, 2010 wonderful example that you can see more in a picture than by your eyes. Perfect seen scene. Especially the positions of people and car is perfect. Very well done!Harald / Germany Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted September 11, 2010 I do appreciate your comment but I am unsure why you left a picture totally unrelated to this picture. Maybe I am missing something. Link to comment
