Very simple photo, good effect, very nice style and frame. How do you get these frames?

I would have hesitate to put this photo up...I really like the photo but would have been concerned that no one else would get-it. Thanks

Most certainly, my purpose was not to criticize this work but to compliment. Perhaps I was not as clear in that I like this photo. The composition is spot on. The error is mine in that I was not clear.

Gail, I did indeed hesitate for six or seven months before uploading this one;) In fact, for the greater part of my photos I hesitated a long time before posting, thinking them precisely too simple and straight-forward for anyone to "get it", as you say. (By "getting it" I don't mean to say that there is anything to actually get, like a hidden meaning or something. Just that one finds it aesthetically pleasing or worthwhile to look at.) Getting feedback like this puts those fears to rest, though, and it's a lot of fun, too:)

 

Karl: I must admit, the frame is an automated action I downloaded on the net (can't remember where).

Grass never looked so fascinating.

Love the composition and exposure does it justice.

Bengt: Never hesitate to put up so simple and delightful an image. People may or may not get it. You did and that's what counts the most. As soon as I saw this image I laughed, made a martini, and enjoyed the work for about fifteen minutes. Well done. What I like the most is you captured the grass before it got cut. This picture would'nt work after the grass got a haircut.
