billangel 9,671 Posted February 19, 2006 I find the arm and hand extraneous and distracting. You might consider reducing its brightness/contrast relative to the rest of the image to make it stand out less. Link to comment
John Peri 1,039 Posted February 27, 2006 Yes, she looks tired but a little sad too. Nevertheless, a striking image and the outstretched hand somehow adds to the ambiance of the image. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted March 7, 2006 Nice spot coloring. Thanks Lila, for showing us a glimpse into your part of the world. Link to comment
drybrain 0 Posted April 17, 2006 there is more than weariness of pushing and noise in that look. i agree with john on the had - adds a lot! muscled unidirectional determination that contrasts so starkly with the mind wandering and getting lost in so many ways. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 20, 2006 I like the idea and composition! this is a great shot! like her expresion too, she seems to be somewhat disturbed (perhaps because of the photographer?) Anyway I think its great moment captured in an excellent way. The colors manipulation gives the presence as well. The hand could be distracting or not, depending on the context I would say it is part of the scene. Congratulations Link to comment
kim_tural 0 Posted May 31, 2006 Your subject looks bothered. I like the woman at the far right. She likes having her picture taken. Nice shot and good post processing treatment. Link to comment
neel1 0 Posted August 30, 2006 What I like the most is the intensity in her eyes at the moment of the shot. Her red saree and the post-production touches to subdue the vicinity highlights her gaze and the intensity. So it is a very nice composition. It captures her out of the life around. Link to comment
muszkiet damian 0 Posted September 13, 2006 Her look just straight to the camera...her dress looks amazing when mixed with not so colorfull background...it's almost extraordinary photograph if there wasn't be arm covering her shoulder...all in all very good shot :) Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 16, 2008 really retained my attention while going through your portfolio. The main character really pops up as you faded the other people and her expression is really mysterious but also a bit sad among other more happy people. Congrats. Cheers - Laurent - Link to comment
