Stone age? Countless porcs on the way to the black castle before the storm hits. Mystical. I think a bit less contrast would be better. Karl

The scenery is awesome, like another planet. Wide angle perspective and camera point convey great depth, nice convergence in sky and land. What distrats me is a bit unnatural looking horizon, the sky seems to be put in (I have no fundamental objections, but it must look real, IMO). It looks as if the light source for sky and land is different, if you look closer at the shadows in the foreground.

I really like this composition, the land-to-sky ratio, and the dark cloud above the hill. On my monitor, the foreground seems not quite sharp enough, making it hard for the eye to settle on any details. I suspect this is a result of the small size and jpeg compression.

Thank you for the feedback.

Carsten - thanks for your observations. The sky is definately real. The light source is coming roughly left-to-right.

Mark - it's in the Peak District National Park, England.

Cheers, Ian.

Simple and effective shot of the "DON'T TELL ANYONE WHERE IT IS LOCATION "thats means you don't indicate where it is" a tilt and shift would have made this image something else but then again that what T&S do.
