I think you could have spent more time on your composition. It isn't exactly clear which of the elements - chandelier or window - you are endeavouring to communicate to us. I imagine you were impressed by the chandelier : perhaps you could have filled the frame with it, emphasis on correct exposure? (Or perhaps you felt the background provided the context we needed?)

Just not sure what the subject is - obviously in a church though...

i like the "querky aspekt" in this pic! that you havent made it more horizontal makes it very interesting for me. great stuff to explore here and the bw works just fine!
