nick_g1 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Great picture, fantastic atmosphere, you can almost hear the noise, feel the vibration and smell the sweat. Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Great use of contrast and color. I love the cables leading the eye in from the lower right and the roadie squatting in the back. The darkness on the upper left might be a bit too large but there is probably nothing interesting there. Very well done indeed! Link to comment
mark_tso 0 Posted February 6, 2006 Thank You very much too. You're right - there was nothing interesting in the left upper corner - but i don't thinmk this area is too big because it seems to me well ballanced by the black and dark areas on the opposite side.... anyway, i'm happy that you liked this work... goulden 0 Posted February 6, 2006 fantastic image. only negative is the darkness around the guys head closest to us. maybe a bit of photoshop tweaking to increase the lightness of the outline of his hair? otherwise, as i said before, brilliant work Link to comment
perole 0 Posted February 6, 2006 I think this picture is very good, but it is not the best of the Samael-series - some of the others ar even better! What makes it good is the lightning, and your amazing ability to create depth and perspective. I am not a fan of tilting, but here it works since you have tilted backwards and not too much. mark_tso 0 Posted February 6, 2006 First of all - Hello! and Thank You! Now, I think I understand what you mean (i saw such a things on your photos)... Check this photo now. it is maximum lighting i could get with PS (i did some changes after your first comment). If you know how to get more light in this situation - pleese send me an letter. florainer 0 Posted February 6, 2006 i think your livepix are some of the best on pn, but i wonder how you achieve this amazing depth of field? i mean, i usually use a 1.8 - 2.2 aperture which does not allow great dof. a technical description of your gear used would be very helpful for me. thanx in advance fr Link to comment
goulden 0 Posted February 11, 2006 how to get more light, em, be nice to the lighting engineer before the gig is the only way. i was shooting a gig recently were the band complained that the lights were too hot so they had them turned down. not even f1.4 at 3200 was good enough Link to comment
