tholte 16,977 Posted February 5, 2006 Nice image but you have the horizon split in half, usually works better if you do the thirds thing. Link to comment
edroper 0 Posted February 5, 2006 the subject is good, but the time of day you chose doesn't compliment the scene as well as it could. try maybe during 'golden light' Link to comment
will king 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Megan, I would actually keep the water and crop off the top. There's really no interesting clouds so the sky really adds nothing to the photo. Other than that, I think it's a good photo. Link to comment
tholte 16,977 Posted February 5, 2006 Megan, I like the crop better but Will is correct, would keep more of the water and less of the sky. Some nice puffy clouds would have helped jack up the scene. The more photos you take, the more you will start to be a cloud "hunter". I think you have a pretty good eye and you are twenty times better than I was at your age. Link to comment
tholte 16,977 Posted February 5, 2006 There you go, I love it when some one acually listens to advice. Next time you go to this place, have someone get in a canoe and paddle in to the reflection while you take some photos. Would be a winner for sure, and if some fluffy cumulous clouds decided to show up - National Geographic time for Megan. Link to comment
