Lac Moncouche...Zec Martin-Valin (Québec)

Taken at sunrise (around 4h30 a.m.) at one of my favorites fishing

spots. This is a very nice place to go if you like fishing for Brook

Trout (Salvelinus fontinalis) a.k.a. - Speckled Trout.

 

And it's only 90 minutes from Chicoutimi.

Well exposed with nice colouring and I particularly like the golden light on the water on the island shoreline. I'm not so happy with the foreground rock however although there is an interesting twig or two in silhouette. I was thinking (if the anglers have this facility) of a rickety planked walkboard, or something similar offering lit surfaces, might have been nicer.

I'm not a believer in the "rule of thirds" but for this one it does bother me that the 2 suns are so far to the left and so much emptiness to the center and right. Just an observation.

I agree with the comment above. Two suns look weird, but I suppose that was the idea. I like tonality though.

I agree with Joseph's comment, but not with his ratings - far too harsh in my opinion... I would suggest to crop the shot's 2 thirds on the right in order to obtain a 2 x 3 propotionated vertical format. The result would be a very nice image.
