amyagain 0 Posted February 2, 2006 Thoughts? My daughter is the second from the left. Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted February 2, 2006 Very cute. Mine are probably only about a 1/2 year or so away from this kind of a scene (can't wait). I like the grouping of the kids and all the different "poses"... color is very nice. Too bad the only one facing the camera wasn't "yours". Oh well. You'll probably have lots more opportunities Link to comment
lupine 0 Posted February 2, 2006 Wonderful image, Amy. As a photographer (not a mom) you must put your feelings aside regarding your daughter not looking at the lens. Actually, what really works with this is the expression on the little girls face who IS looking into the lens. That's what really makes this image in my opinion. Obviously this isn't posed but I almost wish all the other little girls were facing away. Nice overall color, nice composition. Great capture! And like the previous comment said, they're will be plenty of opportunities to document your daugther's life. Keep at it... Link to comment
Ray House 4,409 Posted February 3, 2006 Wonderful image. You have photographed your daughter participating in an event. If she had been looking at the camera, she would have been participating in having her picture taken while the event was paused. I'm thinking the other girls parents would love a copy. amyagain 0 Posted February 3, 2006 I intentially did not want my daughter to look at the camera. It was pure coincidence that the one girl looked towards the camera. I did want to capture the event not the individual. The green wall is perfect as a background. I always give copies to other kids in my pics. :) Thank you again! Amy Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted February 5, 2006 Great shot! The postures and facial expressions are precious, and the black, pink, and green colors work beautifully. Even the pink-purple headband contributes to the composition. Link to comment
