rubinphoto 0 Posted January 31, 2006 Great one! The eye is guided to the cyclist by two sets of lines, etc... the only thing that would make it perfect is if the cyclist was more "detached" from the dark background. Could be done with some careful dodging/burning. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 1, 2006 What is there to critique Marco. I could describe the image for you but not much more. I like the way the cyclist is dark and blends into the "hand rail" Its like part of the furnature. There is still a separation of tonality which is nice to see. The series of three Rain images all have excellent qualities and all quite different. regards C. Link to comment
abargrill 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Please permit me to add my praise to the others that rightly attach to this photo. The lines, the shapes and the light work so well with the cyclist adding as important counterpoint to the otherwise classical composition. Very well done! Alan Link to comment
raphaellopez 0 Posted February 1, 2006 This is a special photograph with great tones, mood and angles. Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted February 3, 2006 Complimenti! This is really outstanding, the best of this short series. The perspective is unusual and interesting and the tones are just about perfect (a little more contrast in the sky would help, I think). You also have an outstanding portfolio, which I'll certainly be abck to check out. Link to comment
