seven 0 Posted January 30, 2006 Hi Calin - I like the comp & form of your flower. Good bg too. Your title suggests you're wanting to emphasise the white-ness : no problem in the top half of the image where the bg is black or near black. However, in the lower portion of the frame the bg is midtone grey, and the petals aren't lit quite as well. I wonder if perhaps a bit more lighting of the petals on the 'bottom' (of frame) wouldn't better assist in more dynamic whites? Just a thought. Nice looking though, what sort of flower is this? ecarter 0 Posted January 30, 2006 Lovely - beautiful form and range of tones, and there's an eggshell-delicate sens to the petals - you nailed this one! Link to comment
htc 0 Posted January 30, 2006 thank you all for comments; Seven it is a tulip and i used only one source of light. I will try with two lights, maybe i can improve it. cheers, calin Link to comment
seven 0 Posted January 30, 2006 Calin, of course I know the Tulip - but not from this angle.....amazing.Just as an addendum to earlier comment : I made that from the RR queue; but here on the page the lower whites do not seem as muted - so perhaps I was harsh; you be the judge! Link to comment
