tibor 0 Posted January 28, 2006 Very nice capture considering the speed and movement of the subject. It would have been nice to get the full front tire in, still it is quite a shot! Link to comment
kirt1 0 Posted January 28, 2006 Love the composition, focus is right on and DOF is great. Echo the comment on the front tire but it's pretty minor in my mind. Link to comment
ikapture 0 Posted January 29, 2006 Thank you for your input, I have to agree with you about the front wheel. However when you are shooting through a 300 F2.8 and trying to get as close as you can to crop the image perfectly there isn't much room for error. The background was very average so I had to shoot high and very tight. We were cutting it fine as to our shooting schedule and I saw this shot and pulled him off the track. There were nine riders to shoot in less than two hours. By the way there isn't any external lighting or filters used. Link to comment
ash1 0 Posted January 30, 2006 I liked the crop suggested by Richard. Just have a feeling that the front tyre is missed much more in cropped version. I have sympathy for Greg. He brings a fantastic shot and we are discussing the minor thing. But again that shot was pretty much close to perfact and now even minor thing can be discussed :) Link to comment
