Charles River in Winter 3

I struggled with how to frame this image. In the end, I think I should have moved left and

used a wider lens (which I didn't have with me at the time) Please et me know your thoughts.

It has the appearance of the bottom half being painted and the top half a photo. Good work.

I like the color and movement of the water, but I'm not fond of the context. This is a difficult scene to expose (I would have trouble, that's for sure). I live in a dry environment and am familiar with brown, lifeless looking trees, and over-cast dreary skies. You minimized the sky well, but to add interest to it, and the trees I would have tried some filtration, at least a polarizer. I don't know your work well enough to know your feelings on 'going all natural' though. What do you think?
