tbart 0 Posted January 26, 2006 I had a poppy seed field right next to my house and I enjoyed going there in different stages and photographing them. Only few countries can grow them in EU. There are quotes for everything. I think Czech Republic got a high quote for this and that is why they we everywhere this last season. I used an infrared filter. Wind moved few of them which would be easy to correct in PS, but I like it this way and left it as it is. Thank you for comments. Link to comment
garydad 0 Posted January 26, 2006 Yes, I like it the way it is also. I wouldn't change a thing. The sky is SO perfect. I would be very proud of this shot. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted January 26, 2006 Well I have to disagree, the motion does make a difference for me, when I saw the thumbnail I thought this was the kind of photo I could hang on my wall, looking at the larger version was I was slightly dissapointed. Don;t get me wrong, it is still good, but just not as perfect as I would have hoped, my suggestion is to shoot more frames ;) Link to comment
tom t 0 Posted January 26, 2006 I like it a lot. Ben A - could you explain what is "wrong" about it, or what you would improve? To me this one is great - it has a spacey feeling with the big sky. When my dad was a kid and could not sleep because of a cold or so his mom used to feed him poppyseed tea - that got him spaced... Very nice - I would be proud of this one. I'm not a big fan of frames but your frame works for me too here. Regards, Tom Link to comment
gilles champagne 0 Posted January 27, 2006 Perfect, don't change it. The motion adds to the scene a scense of life. Link to comment
randall ellis 2 Posted January 29, 2006 I agree with the others; this is great as it stands. The IR really lends the image a surreal feeling, especially in the sky. Very neat image. Thanks for sharing it with us. - Randy Link to comment
