amalsircar 2 Posted January 21, 2006 Bauls are mystic ministrels of rural Bengal in India. Their colorfuldress, soul-sirring songs and way of life are popular. The single-string musical instrument in the hand is known as 'Ektara'. Theypirouette, while singing. Comments and ratings are welcome. Thanks. Link to comment

amrit_chatterjee 0 Posted January 24, 2006 The mystic bards of Bengal have been captured in your lense although they are free birds who roam about throughout the countryside. The picture is very colourful Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted January 24, 2006 The expression of the person in the corner, completely absorbed in the music, is great. Now, at the same time, I'm a bit distracted by the background which is too bright and competes for attention with the player. I would suggest a very extreme -and maybe provocative- crop, to bring out the things I like the most: the music being played and listened to... things which are difficult to put in an image of course, but I guess you made it!
